If you want complete privacy on AOL, not being bothered by advertisements,
                                ...this is the way to do it.

1. Open AOL and sign on ( get on line )
2. After you're logged on to AOL, Go to My AOL / Preferences / and hit the "Marketing"
    button. On the right you now see 6 plum colored buttons.
3. Tap each one and fallow the prompts to "Not" receive contact in each specific area.
    Your preferences are now set to not be targeted by the AOL marketing team.
